Kalu Samuel Anya is a 2010 graduate of Agriculture with options in Soil Science and meteorology from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike- Nigeria. He is the YPARD Local Representative in Lagos, Nigeria.
He has underwent several trainings, conferences and studies in Agriculture and entrepreneurship with University of Maryland, U.S.A , IHAV Foundation Conference, Association of Africa Business School (AABS) Agric business Launch to mention but a few. He is also a social media reporter who uses the new media to spark Youth’s interest in Agriculture.
He is an Agri consultant who encourages youths to go into Agribusiness by providing the right information, help them source and procure for Agric inputs and equipments as well as train and groom them on ways to manage their businesses effectively through Youth Gap Network, an NGO he Co-founded with Mr. Opeyemi Taiwo to reduce the rate of youth unemployment and increase Youth involvement in Agribusiness as the means of sustainable development and job creation.
As a young farmer and entrepreneur with a passion for research and writing, he uses his Blog to share experiences, opportunities and Agric/Agribusiness News to spark up Youth’s interest in Agriculture and Agribusiness as a way of reducing Youth unemployment predominant across Africa.
He also is proficient in using the new media to disseminate information across millions of people who uses the internet.
He has also worked as a volunteer Social media reporter, reporting live events he attends at to reach other followers via a twitter hashtag.
He is also a public speaker who speaks at various Youth conferences encouraging Youths to embrace Agriculture and Agribusiness as a means of sustainable development and job creation!
