How will the world feed nine billion people? What are the most promising sustainable agriculture projects today? How will innovations get funding? All these questions and more will be discussed at the global forum for innovations in agriculture, (GFIA 2014) coming up in Abu Dhabi, UAE in February 3-5, 2013.
The theme of the event is “driving innovation for an agricltural revolution” and covers several areas of agriculture.
In response to the real threats posed by global water shortages, pollution and climate change, thousands of scientists and innovators around the world are employing cutting-edge technology to create sustainable agriculture solutions and projects. In February 2014, these innovators are being brought together for the first time. The Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture (GFIA 2014) will show the world how new ideas can be developed to solve the world’s ever increasing food needs.
Hosted by the City of Abu Dhabi, the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture will present the world’s largest collection of sustainable agriculture inventions and pool together the highest level of expertise, investors and suppliers to show the world how big ideas can be used to increase substantially food production in both arid and semi arid climates and solve the world’s ever increasing food needs.
