Been born into and growing up in a farming family household, I saw Agriculture as not just a business, but a way of life. This however did not motivate me to initially pursue a career in Agriculture, I opted for engineering but later found myself in Agriculture.
For over 10 years, I have worked as an Agribusiness Consultant with a focus on the Agronomic practices involved in setup, management and strategic marketing of Horticultural and Plantation crops as well as their effective Post-harvest handling practices.
I am also involved in the Design, Layout, Procurement and Setting up of Irrigation systems and other farm machinery necessary for smooth running of farms as well as training youth on developing profitable Agribusiness organizations.
Having underwent several trainings, conferences and studies in e-Agriculture and creativity, innovation and change with Pennsylvania State Univeristy, U.S.A, Innovative ideas for creating new businesses with University of Maryland, USA, IHAV Foundation Conference, Association of Africa Business School (AABS) Agribusiness Launch to mention but a few, I use this Blog to share my family farming experiences as well as those of others, Agricultural opportunities and Agriculture/Agribusiness News to spark up Youth’s interest in Agriculture and Agribusiness as a way of reducing Youth unemployment predominant across Africa.
I am proficient in using the new media to disseminate information across millions of people who uses the internet, managing effective and strategic social media marketing campaigns as a social media co-ordinator. I am also an experienced public speaker who speaks at various Youth conferences encouraging Youths to embrace Agriculture and Agribusiness as a means of sustainable development and job creation.
